The new face of enterprise
Newcastle City Council's Business Development Centres have just completed the first phase in rebranding. Now known as the Newcastle Enterprise Centres the new name reflects the type of businesses that use the offices and workshops. Each centre also has a new name following the style of the well known i6 Charlotte Square, becoming i2 Byker, i4 Quayside, i6 Charlotte Square and i8 Lynnwood.
Not only is there a new stylish brand image, the centres now have their own website that will be used to promote the centres to new businesses, as well as acting as a gate way for enterprise support.
The rebrand came about as a way of enhancing the centres and promoting them more effectively to businesses across the city and beyond, as well as providing improved services for the exising clients. This will be further developed over the next month when a client's network will be launched, which will offer those in the centres their own private network to share information and create a closer community over the four sites.
